This updates the shortcut to reference the proper Driver/device. Once you have selected the proper controller, click ‘Apply’ at the bottom of the screen.
Then using the Data Source tree on the right hand side, navigate to the correct driver and controller.
On the right you will see the drivers configured in RSLinx and any devices that are communicating via those drivers.
It allows users to connect to Allen Bradley PLCs and PACs as well as Panelview Plus HMIs and other equipment that speaks Ethernet IP, DF1 or DH+ (and their variants). That's why I'm thinking if AB's service pack also matters and compatible to each other.Rockwell Software’s RSLinx is the communication hub for their RSLogix and FactoryTalk programming suites.
I encountered this service pack issue with Siemens' WinCC 7.0 SP1 and SP2. Note: I didn't create a back-up of the one I uninstalled.) I tried to ping the SLC505 and look for it at the new installed RSLinx and it was there. But when I opened the RSView32 runtime, it is not stating on online mode. I uninstalled the existing RSLinx and installed the new one (the one that we bought) togeteher with the registered license.
I registered the license via internet at the office and transferred it on-site. We bought this new license RSLinx CPR 9 SR3 to replace the existing license. (There is an existing and running RSLinx on-site, but we just borrowed the license (RSLinx Classic Gateway CPR 9 SR1) from Rockwell. Is there something that I still need to configure? (from the below case)
Does it matters if I loaded RSLinx Classic Gateway CPR 9 SR3 to run RSView32 CPR 9 SR1?ģ. 1.If there is any difference between RSLinx Classic Gateway CPR 9 SR1 and RSLinx Classic Gateway CPR 9 SR3.Ģ.
